An Introduction

 I need to start by saying honestly that I don't imagine anyone will ever read this blog.

I am a librarian in a small library in a tiny farming community on the prairie of Western Kansas.  

I have a husband, 2 grown children, 2 dogs and a three legged cat - and I also have an addiction to reading! When I was little, maybe 5 or 6, if you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would tell you I wanted to be a librarian. (more likely I would have said "library lady", lol) After 25 years in retail management, I got my wish. Its the perfect second career!

I read 140+ books most years, and have recently found that my librarian status gets me approval on advanced reading copies of books before they are published, in exchange for an honest review. I post on Instagram, Facebook, Goodreads, and Amazon, but I decided a blog for my reviews would be fun.  I do not review DNFs, or books I would give less than 3 stars to. It's hard enough for writers in the current world, and I don't want to throw shade on any book just because it wasn't a good fit for me.
